Giveaway! Craft Hope Book

(GIVEAWAY NOW CLOSED)
Here it is, friends: the Craft Hope book giveaway. To enter, leave a comment telling me your favorite craft, be it painting, scrapbooking, sewing, underwater basketweaving, etc. If you are reading this on my Facebook, please click over to yeebird and leave your comment on my blog.

The giveaway will close Wednesday, September 8 at midnight, with results posted on September 9. Winners will be chosen at random (in other words, Ian will pull a name from a hat).

Also, check me out here!

And one more thing--Dana Willard of MADE is doing a giveaway of the Craft Hope book too, so after you enter here click over to her spot (if it is not posted there yet, try again later today) and enter again.

Now, a few photos of this morning--Lilly's very first day of preschool. I'm not sure if she was excited . . .

As for the obnoxiously huge tulle hairbows . . . last night I asked Lill, "What do you want to wear on your first day of school tomorrow?" Lilly replied, "Um, PURPLE." And there ya go. So, when we parked this morning, she said, "I need to get out and go show everyone my hair." She is an absolute TRIP. I love it!

When we arrived it was pretty much, Mom and Dad WHO? Cool.

Remember to leave a comment to win. Happy Thursday.

I guess mixed media is my thing these days.

I love all things crafty. Anything I can make with my own two hands makes me happy :)

  4. Love those hairbows. Bigger is better! =)
My favorite crafts are scrapbooking and sewing.

  5. Hair bows... adorable! My girls would love them.

As for my favorite craft... depends on what I am in the mood for. I like my off the cuff ideas that come to me in the middle of the night that I have to start on the next day. Anything from things to hang on the walls, to a fake fireplace that I made last Christmas because we don't have a real one.

  6. They grow up so fast!!! My favorite crafts are scrapbooking and quilting. Wish I had more time for both!

  7. Lilly looks adorable! Preschool...is that possible?

I LOVE scrapbooking and sewing. Now, if I could find a way to produce more time I would be set :)

  8. Pre-school, such a huge step for both parent and child! It is one of my favorite stages.

My favorite crafts are those I can finish :) I love to scrapbook and paint. I would also really love to learn to sew better. I have the basic concept, but I'm a little intimidated by it. I can't wait to see the craft book!

  9. I LOVE LOVE the purple hair bows! You can't beat that!
I love learning to sew (I am trying!) and paper crafts (I made my son's birthday invites last week that I was super excited about!).

  11. Love your blog! Thanks for sharing such wonderful ideas and precious family moments with us!

I like all sorts of crafts--my friend recently introduced me to stamping/card making! Those are fun to mail, make as gifts, etc.

  12. Love the hairbows!! Super cute.

I love to make homemade, organic dog treats and decorate cute jars with pawprints and ribbons to give away to other puppy mothers like myself. Is that considered crafty or culinary? Or culinafty?

  13. Love the look! She rocked it!

My favorite craft hmmm... I probably sew more than anything. (In fact I'm getting ready to try my hand at a Tim Gunn moment... "Make It Work"... A skirt I've never worn fits but looks horrible... I'm gonna cut into I think... if I can... I think I can... anyways!)

  14. very exciting school year for your sweet family. :)
I enjoy sewing the most....or painting. crafty painting though, not artistic museum type painting.

  15. Crafts........holiday specialties.......especially our handprints for my husband we make each year for Father's Day.

Great job on all your exposure. And, I love the purple bows!

  16. Wow, those purple bows were something! That gal is too cute.

Favorite craft...well, I like foodie crafts...although not intricate cake decorating. More fun things. I do like the usual crafts - painting, making cards, etc - but I am too much of a perfectionist and can never decide what to do. So I end up not doing much. I'm better with "here's some random items - make something cute."

Anyway...yay for your book! It almost inspires me to pick up sewing ;)

  17. oh my goodness...she is so stinkin cute!!!!

I have to pick a favorite craft??? hhhhmmm that is a toughie since I love to do just about all of them...but I would have to say paper crafts are probably my all time favorites...so lets give it up for scrapbooking and cards!!!

So excited for a chance to win your book:-)

Rebekah, Grandma's Bernina surely must have dreamed of being owned by you. Your caring heart, talent, and generosity have blessed many including me. Proud of you, sweet daughter.

  21. Was Lilly excited about her first day at preschool?? I'd say the look on her face in the photos says it all! She could barely contain her excitement! How cute she is. ;-)

I'm not a very "crafty" person as far as doing things myself but I love crafts and often have other people make things for me. I have ventured to do a few things over the years and the most meaningful was a wall hanging made with a spray painted frame, velvet covered backing with a heart in the center filled with pieces of my mother's favorite costume jewelry. I did this after she passed away and made one for myself and my sister. It is one of our treasured memorials to her.
