Speaking of . . .

Thought I'd give winter one last hurrah with these icy images. Happy March 1! I am ready for spring! Above, you see a quote that makes me smile.

And below, you see a quote that, if you are local and like me, you have driven past this gas station and spewed coffee (almost) upon reading this sign. Considering the abundance of snow and slush again and again this season, the locals aren't keen on the Groundhog this year!

One final favorite quote of mine from yesterday . . .
Lilly: Ian helped me unbutton my coat. He's my handsome boy.
Awwww.

Now it's your turn. Leave a comment with a favorite quote or Scripture here. Maybe it's as simple as a funny random thought from one of your kiddos. Please share!
Paper: Cosmo Cricket, Jolly by Golly--scanned into my computer, chopped up + quote added in Photoshop.

  8. My nephew this weekend when my dad teased him because their new puppy had been chewing on my sister's furniture. My dad asked if Kyler did that to the chair. Ky's respose: "No, I don't eat wood!"

  9. One weekend I was working and Jeff had the girls. He was trying to get them to brush their teeth before naptime and Karissa was giving him a hard time. He tried to tell her that her teeth would fall out if she didn't brush them .... her reply was "my teeth don't fall out when MOMMY'S home!" (I only make them brush morning and night so apparently she thought it was unreasonable to ask her to do it before naptime, too!)

  12. I know the owner of the station where that sign is; he was good friends of my parents from WAY back. His wife died recently. My mom tells me that he very much dislikes cold weather because it makes his joints ache, so I'm sure that sign was exactly what he was thinking!!
