While I was working on this today
Ian was busy drawing this
Luke, Yoda, and Darth Vader.
And now, we must add "budding photographer" to Ian's growing resume (already included: artist, actor, musician, author and superhero). He now owns our old point-and-shoot camera, and is quite good at photography. Here are a few of Ian's photos:
SuperDad
Apparently, Ian told Lilly to say "cheese" one too many times.
Superman from the Bat Cave: "help me."
Can you believe a four-year old captured this shot?! Wow!
Give your child a camera and see what you get. You might be surprised!

ReplyDeleteHi Rebekah,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the sweet comment you left me on Vintage Plum. I'm so happy you found us! :-) Maybe you can get a gift on your hubby's bday! ;-) I love the project you made for the GDT challenge and I can't wait to see more of your work! Let me know if you have any questions.
Love,
Jenny
When my older son turned six we had a photo party. Every child was given a disposable camera and a scavenger hunt list of 24 things to photograph. Things like: take a picture of someone doing a kartwheel, and snap a photo of you with the birthday boy. Then for then thank you cards each child received their developed pictures. It was a blast to see the creativity go to work in all these little guys. Ian seems like he is well on his way to a talented future!
ReplyDeleteI bet those photos are priceless!
ReplyDeleteFabulous idea. I'm sure Ian would love a photo party, although I admit it's scary to think what they might capture through those lenses . . .
